Intersect empowers a distributed network of builders and contributors to share in the belief that every voice holds value and that building together is stronger. Members forge a secure, collaborative ecosystem to ensure Cardano's sustained growth and evolution in a safe space. Intersect and its members play an important role in shaping the proposed on-chain governance mechanisms and developing off-chain tools and processes to support it, including the rollout of Cardano’s first Constitution. During 2024, the drafting process and ratification of Cardano’s Constitution will occur, involving thousands of participants worldwide.

The Role

We seek a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Account Executive to join our team on a twelve-month full-time contract. During this important period of growth and development for Intersect, this role will be pivotal in growing our membership base, mainly through the introduction and membership sign-up of projects and organizations working within the Cardano ecosystem and beyond.

This will involve one-on-one liaison with all projects and organizations, large and small, to articulate the benefits and value of joining Intersect. It will also involve managing a smooth onboarding journey and signposting organizations to easily interact with and connect with relevant Committees, Working Groups, and Special Interest Groups.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of who the end customers are for Intersect and their varying wants and needs

  • Develop and implement an Enterprise Sale Plan showing your top 100 projects and organizations to target and convert to Intersect Members

  • Build an Enterprise sales deck that communicates the benefits of joining Intersect at an Enterprise level

  • Liaise and meet with project and organization teams to discuss their wants and needs from Membership, feeding this back and shaping new member benefits and offerings

  • Build bespoke Membership offerings where necessary to ensure organizations can maximize their engagement with Intersect

  • Actively manage your conversations and contacts in CRM

  • Maintain and drive a Membership Sales Pipeline and associated reporting

  • Ensure that new Enterprise Members are onboarded successfully so they are fully aware of how to maximize their membership of Intersect and are aware of how to get involved with working groups, special interest groups, and committees

  • Should be able to report regularly to the Executive Team on pipeline status with tangible figures around meetings/leads/sign-ups in any given period

Qualifications

  • A proactive approach and results-oriented

  • Strong understanding and awareness of blockchain technologies, ecosystems, and communities. Particular consideration will be given to candidates already active and engaged within the Cardano ecosystem.

  • Proven experience and track record in Sales, Business Development and Membership within the blockchain/Web3 space

  • Ability to articulate the benefits of Intersect to organizations

  • Excellent listening and proven written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.

  • Ability to shape product offerings in the form of new Membership benefits and offerings

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple objectives simultaneously.

  • A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and stakeholder engagement.

  • Being fluent in English and additional languages such as Spanish or Japanese is considered a big plus.
