During this time members were able to elect four board members out of the seven that compose the Intersect Board.

#### Why it matters

* **Shape the future** – Influence decisions that impact the Cardano community and governance framework.
* **Lead with impact** – Represent members and ensure their perspectives are heard at the highest level.

#### Roles & Responsibilities

Before applying, we encourage you to review the [Board Roles and Responsibilities](https://board.docs.intersectmbo.org/overview/intersect-board-members/board-member-role-responsibilities-and-expectations) to fully understand the expectations and commitments of the role.

#### Term Length

* The **first two elected candidates** will serve a **2-year term**.
* The **last two elected candidates** will serve a **1-year term**.
